GRANDE DUNES LIFE Who would have thought that in a few short months the world would change so much and that for a time we would change flip flops for face masks and suntan oil for hand sanitizer? I know everyone has been looking forward to the pool opening, enjoying beach chairs, umbrellas, live music, events and getting back to normal. So, we wanted to share some upcoming happenings that we can all look forward to. Of course, all of these events are contingent upon current health guidelines, conditions and the phase of reopening we are currently in. So keep this in mind, as all dates are subject to change.

Members Club — U P D AT E —
Over the last couple of months, we have all experienced a level of upheaval and uncertainty like we have never known. It has been a particularly challenging time and we are all concerned about our health, our livelihoods and our communities. We do hope you are well; staying safe and are healthy. We all must do what we can to protect ourselves and to protect each other. Hopefully, we all can come out stronger and wiser in the best possible way. Currently, with some restrictions still in place on social gatherings, the Anchor Café and the Ocean Club remain closed.

Please take care of yourselves and of one another. We look forward to seeing you at the club very soon.
A NOTE FROM GRANDE DUNES MEMBERSHIP DIRECTOR Summer is in the air, and in our steps as we gear up for the awesome changes that are taking place at the Members Club at Grande Dunes. With the greens renovation underway, excitement and anticipation is upon us. Hopefully, by the time the next issue is out in September, we will be living with the NEW and IMPROVED normal and NEW GREENS on our already wonderful golf course. Look for membership incentives and promotions going into the fall. I appreciate every one of you for supporting your club during this pandemic. The best is yet to come. If you are interested in learning more about membership at the Members Club, read about our membership packages on the next spread. Or you can contact me at (843) 315-0281 or pevans@grandedunes.com.
Pam Evans Membership Director Grande Dunes Members Club

The Members Club golf course will be closed to play beginning on May 6th as the resurfacing of the greens will take place. Our goal is to re-open the
course sometime early to mid-August. Of course, the opening is dependent on the grow-in of the new tiff-eagle ultra-dwarf grass we will be planting. Golf inherently provides many health and fitness benefits, including the opportunity to spend time outdoors with family and friends, which is needed now more than ever. While the golf course is closed, the golf shop is providing members with numerous reciprocal opportunities at local clubs.
13
The importance of social distancing and responsible behavior during this pandemic has become a part of everyone’s daily life. Reopening our facilities responsibly and following the guidelines by the CDC for social distancing practices is something we can all unify behind. We recognize it is crucial that we reopen in a way that prioritizes the health and well being of the entire community.

For even more fun, you can check out Waterside Pointe as you cruise down the Intracoastal Waterway and see just what our residents are enjoying. If you’re interested in calling Waterside Pointe home, you need to stop reading this newsletter and contact us NOW. There are only a few homesites left, and you don’t want to miss this chance. VISIT
