Welcome to a new season at The Grand! This October, we kick off with Wonder Boy (08-12 Oct), a heartwarming tale that will touch your soul. Then prepare yourself for a thrilling murder mystery with Cluedo 2 (15-19 Oct), where the stakes are higher and the twists more surprising!
From the 22 to 26 October, we’re proud to present Mike Leigh’s iconic Abigail’s Party. A sharp, dark comedy that remains as relevant today as when it premiered. Finally, Heathers The Musical (29 Oct - 02 Nov), a high-energy, darkly comedic show that’s been a worldwide smash hit.
Kicking off November, we have a knockout new play about Labour, love and the beautiful game: Love It If We Beat Them (5-6 Nov) by Rob Ward received 5-star reviews for its premiere and we are delighted Blackpool is a fixture on its first UK tour.
In 2025, we’re excited to bring you some of the most acclaimed productions in recent years. In February, don’t miss Stephen Daldry’s multi-award-winning NT production of An Inspector Calls and the Tony®, Olivier®, and Grammy® Award-winning Dear Evan Hansen.
No season would be complete without our always-anticipated Christmas Pantomime. We bring you the magical tale of Cinderella, starring the much-loved Hayley Tamaddon and laugh-a- minute Steve Royle, a spectacular festive treat for the whole family.

CREATIVE LEARNING
This summer we were thrilled to continue The Grand’s 130th birthday celebrations by welcoming a 130-strong cast and company of children and young adults aged 8 to 17 to present the iconic splurge gun musical Bugsy Malone. Bringing together all departments of the Theatre to support this professionally staged production, our outstanding creative and production team brought every detail of this beloved musical to life.
Our heartfelt thanks and gratitude got to our incredible chaperones and front of house team who ensured that every visitor was
welcomed and every child cared for with the warmth and professionalism that The Grand is known for. And, of course, we must celebrate the 130 amazing children who took to the stage with such enthusiasm and talent. Their energy, passion, and sheer joy in performing have made Bugsy Malone a truly unforgettable experience for everyone involved.
