Local and regional presenters will offer a diverse set of options in the disciplines of dance, drama, music & visual arts. 19 dynamic, fun and educational workshops will provide training, knowledge and networking for those working in the creative sector such as practicing artists, arts educators and administrators. In addition, special sessions are planned that are suitable for students at the high school and college levels. Instructor: Branice McKenzie : Performance Artist, Educator – Oakland School for the Arts Ms. McKenzie will lead this unique workshop, with a special performance guest, through an "Actor's Studio" style setting providing students an opportunity to learn about auditioning and performing in the professional world. The second half of the workshop will actively engage participants in auditioning for a professional panel and receiving constructive feedback.
