motorised wheelchair “two-in-one system”
It is a ‘two-in-one system’, i.e. a motorised wheelchair that becomes a manual wheelchair if required by removing the motors. The motorised version has the same driving and safety performance as an electronic wheelchair. It is manoeuvred using a simple joystick.
By releasing the motorised body and reinserting the rear wheels, the wheelchair becomes manual again.
The motorised body also allows the batteries to be removed (thanks to a convenient lifting strap), thus reducing the weight of the individual components to be handled. In this way SMARTY can be loaded into the boot of the car or stored when not in use.
The electric version has great stability (due to its robust body, which stabilises the rear of the manual wheelchair), reliability, and motor power (useful for ascents and safe for descents - as it has an electromagnetic brake).

Equipped with 15 km of autonomy, it reaches a speed of 6 km/h and overcomes gradients of 8% even from a standing start. SMARTY is equipped with a system of lights and direction indicators for better outdoor use. It has a buzzer to signal its presence. Driving and these functions are controlled by a practical joystick (which can be positioned on the right or left).
The wheelchair is available in 4 seat widths: (40.5 - 43 - 45.5 and 48 cm) and two depths (40 and 45 cm) SMARTY is designed and manufactured in Italy.
