Strategic Planning Retreat Legislation Session Begins Women’s Division

The Grapevine Chamber of Commerce and Colleyville Area Chamber of Commerce will combine for a special luncheon, with guest speakers Texas Senator Kelly Hancock and Texas Representative Giovanni Capriglione. The luncheon, sponsored by Aviall, Inc. and catered by McAlister’s Deli, will be Thursday, January 8, at 11:30 a.m. at the Grapevine Convention Center. Senator Hancock and Representative Capriglione will discuss the upcoming Texas 84th Legislature. First elected to the Texas Senate in 2012, Senator Kelly Hancock represents Senate District 9,

which includes portions of Tarrant and Dallas Counties. He served three terms in the Texas House of Representatives where he advocated for core conservative values of limited government, lower taxes and strong family values. Throughout his legislative career, Senator Hancock, a graduate of Baylor University with a degree in Business, has worked to pass voter identification legislation, prolife legislation, eminent domain legislation, immigration reform legislation and state sovereignty legislation. Senator Hancock and his wife, Robin, have been married 26 years and have three children: Chloe, Skylar and Harrison.
