Must Be Present to Win!
Those present at the December Membership Luncheon saw the “Must Be Present to Win” Drawing continue its climb as Kelly Gordon, with Wendy Ezell, CPA, was not in attendance. The prize is now up to $200 for January. Each month at the Chamber’s Membership Luncheon, the drawing grows as long as the person whose name is called is not in attendance. To win, all you have to do is show up and hear your name be called! How easy is that? All Chamber members are eligible to win, thanks to the sponsorship from First Financial Bank, NA.

Welcome to 2016
from the Grapevine Chamber
Women’s Division!
The Women’s Division of the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce is comprised of a group of women that have a commitment to our community, focusing on providing school supplies for deserving students and Christmas gifts for senior adults. Our motto this year is – “We do a lot of work with love but it is worth it.” Our mission is to help our community prosper so business can succeed. In December, many members and community supporters purchased and distributed Christmas wish list items, postage stamps, a household item bag and cash to area seniors identified by GRACE who are in need. Many thanks to those that assisted with this project, without each of us working together we would not be successful! We cannot provide the school supplies in August and the senior gifts in December without our community supporting our fundraising efforts. Our first fundraising event, the Great Taste of Grapevine, will be March 24 at the Courtyard/TownePlace Suites by Marriott in Grapevine. The Great Taste will have more than 20 local restaurants with delicious samples of their menu items. There will be more information to follow in future newsletters. We are also planning for some new possible fundraising activities to take place during 2016. So stay tuned! I hope each of you has a healthy and happy 2016, and I look forward to all of us working together to support our community. Please contact me if you would like to join the Women’s Division or have any questions.

Beer Can Appreciation Day WISHING YOU A HAPPY
January 24th
Now here's a day that NJ can really get into! Actually, we can "get into" the stuff inside even more. What we really appreciate, is a beer can that is full and icy cold.
Beer Can Appreciation Day celebrates that great day in 1935 when beer was first sold in cans. Beer Can Appreciation Day provides us with the opportunity to enjoy and appreciate the many different kinds of beer cans. Enjoy today by starting or adding to your beer can collection. As you empty the new cans, drink the contents. After all, you don't want to be wasteful do you? HIC DESIGN AP
