Active Shooter Prevention Expert, Chris Grollnek, January 19 The Grapevine Chamber of Commerce is proud to have Chris Grollnek, Active Shooter Prevention Expert and Domestic Terrorism Training and Prevention Policy Development Specialist, speak at the next Membership Luncheon, January 19, at the Grapevine Convention Center, sponsored by Binary Printing Solutions and catered by Brio Tuscan Grille Chris Grollnek has spent his life as the embodiment of protection to his country, community and his family. In his extensive experience, Chris has persistently sought to provide superior expertise and recognized leadership in an impressive array of professional, public, and personal endeavors. Internationally Recognized Domestic Terrorism and Active Shooter Prevention Expert, Chris is often sought for political policy evaluation and or creation. Chris Grollnek is an award winning former police investigator and one of the nation’s highly respected policy experts in the prevention of domestic terrorism and active shooter incidents. Recognized

as a leader of police and public safety initiatives, Chris has experience advising the highest levels of government and corporate executives. Governors, Prime Ministers, Presidential candidates and political think tanks often call upon Chris’ experience, which includes time spent testifying to House and Senate committees. Under Oath, Chris gave testimony regarding the need for specific counterterrorism initiatives at the behest of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS). With extensive experience in small to medium sized consulting businesses, Chris organized and currently leads a work-place violence coalition comprised of 15 companies, known as the Safe2Safest, Strategic Alliance. Each of the 15 participating companies is recognized as the nation’s leading expert within their industry for a specific security discipline. Prior to his current endeavors, Chris spent 12 years as a Marine and Marine Corps Senior Drill Instructor. During his service, he was awarded several commendations and Continued on page 2

A New Year

2017 is upon us, and it is my hope that you and your families had a wonderful holiday season filled with many blessings. As we enter the New Year, it is time to refocus on the coming year, and it is an exciting time to be a member of the Grapevine Chamber. I encourage each and every member to make one more New Year’s resolution, to fully engage with your Grapevine Chamber of Commerce. Please make it a point to take advantage of the wonderful benefits your membership offers you. Utilize the Chamber’s website to advertise job openings. Attend a ribbon cutting. Go to one of the monthly Membership luncheons, attend the monthly Business Partnership meeting at City Hall. There is so much to be gained by being active in your Chamber such as new business contacts and new friendships. It is an exciting time in the City of Grapevine and for your Grapevine Chamber.
