TEX Rail is Coming to Grapevine! Learn More at the Luncheon, Nov. 12 The Grapevine Chamber of Commerce is proud to have Richey Thompson, TEX Rail Chief Engineer with the Fort Worth Transportation Authority, speak about the TEX Rail project coming to Grapevine. The luncheon, sponsored by Wells Fargo and catered by Brio Tuscan Grille, will be Thursday, November 12, at 11:30 a.m., at the Grapevine Convention Center. TEX Rail is a 27-mile commuter rail project being developed by the Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) and will be the next passenger rail service coming to Tarrant County. TEX Rail will

carry passengers from downtown Fort Worth, on to Grapevine and into the north end of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. For updates on the project, visit www. TEXRail.com. Richey Thompson, P.E., joined The T in June 2015 as the TEX Rail Chief Engineer, and is currently overseeing the final design and construction of the TEX Rail Project. Thompson is a professional engineer with 15 years of experience in the planning, design and construction of transit projects, including both light and commuter rail projects. Prior to joining The T he worked for CH2M Hill, URS & CP&Y engineering consulting firms. Thompson received his Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from

Texas Tech University in 2000. Make plans to attend the luncheon at the Grapevine Convention Center, located at 1209 S. Main St. (at the corner of Vine St. & Municipal Way). The cost is $25 with a reservation by 5 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, or $40 after that date. There is a $5 fee for invoicing, and all reservations not canceled by 1 p.m. the Wednesday of the luncheon will be billed. Please note that the late registration and walk-in fee has been increased to $40, and please register early! Reservations can be made by contacting the Grapevine Chamber at (817) 481-1522, emailing info@ grapevinechamber.org or visiting the Chamber website’s Events Page.

Even though the year is coming to a close, your Board of Directors continues working hard to complete the goals we set forth this year, as well as look toward 2016. The new members of the board have been approved, and we have scheduled our 2016 Strategic Planning Meeting for November 19. As the board begins to look
