November Membership Luncheon with Don Graves Join us at the November Luncheon featuring guest speaker Don Graves on Nov 16th. Donald G Graves was born in Detroit, Michigan in 1925. He entered the US Marine Corps at the age of 17 on Aug 17, 1942. Donald served two tours in the South Pacific. On Feb, 19, 1945, his division hit the beach on Iwo Jima and secured Mt. Suri-
bachi in three days. The famous flag raising was on Mt Suribachi with the 5th Marine Division. After 5 weeks of heavy fighting, the island was secured. The 5th Marine Division also served with the occupation of Japan, He was discharged Jan, 12, 1946. The luncheon will be in the Grapevine Convention Center, located at 1209 S. Main St. (at the corner of Vine St. & Municipal Way). The cost is $25 with a
reservation by 5 p.m., Tuesday, Nov 14, or $40 after that date. There is a $5 fee for invoicing, and all reservations not canceled by 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov 15, will be billed.
