Donations to GRACE are the Cost of Entry! It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce is proud to have legendary Grapevine musician Rocky Gribble performing at the Chamber’s December Membership Luncheon. Sponsored by Baylor Regional Medical Center at Grapevine and catered by Outback Steakhouse, the luncheon will be Thursday, December 11, at 11:30 a.m., at the Grapevine Convention Center. The cost of entry to this month’s luncheon is at least three (3) canned food items AND a NEW clothing item or toy to donate to GRACE – Grapevine Community Relief and Exchange. If you do not bring BOTH, the typical registration fee of $20 or $25, depending on your registration date, will apply. Early registration is still required for the luncheon. The son of a West Texas cotton farmer, Rocky Gribble’s musical roots began when he first picked up his dad’s guitar at the age of thirteen. Before he turned fourteen, Rocky was making weekly television
appearances on a country music show in Lubbock, Texas. His high school years in Post, Texas were dotted with awards recognizing his talents on the guitar. A Bachelor of Arts degree in music from Southern Nazarene University in 1974 would soon follow as Rocky embarked on a career in his first love. His abilities on the electric lead guitar, acoustic rhythm guitar, nylon string classical guitar, five string banjo and mandolin keep him busy contributing to the music of countless singers and songwriters. Join us for the luncheon at the Grapevine Convention Center, 1209 S. Main St. in Grapevine, at the corner of Vine St. and Municipal Way. Don’t forget to bring at least three (3) canned food items and a NEW clothing item or toy for GRACE. Without a donation, the cost is $20 with a reservation made prior to 5 p.m., Tuesday, December 9, and $25 after. There is a $5 fee for invoicing. Reservations not canceled by 1 p.m., Wednesday, December 10 will be billed. Reservations can be made by contacting the Grapevine Chamber at (817) 481-1522, emailing info@ grapevinechamber.org or visiting the Chamber website’s Events Page.

Chamber!
Each year, Thanksgiving reminds us to thank those who have blessed us this year. At the Grapevine Chamber we are surrounded by a business community who works hard to be successful, but still gives back through their time and financial resources. We are so thankful to be a part of such a giving and caring business organization, from the individual members who move us forward to the Board of Directors who guide us. Great people have provided the vision and goals that continue to bring our businesses together, creating a strong community of opportunity and success. Christmas is a time for each of us to celebrate our God, and it is the season of hope, understanding and love. We are blessed to be in a community that proudly shares in the reason for the season. We see it each day as businesses come by to pick up an ornament from the Christmas Spirit Tree to buy presents for the senior adults Continued on page 2
