This luncheon will be in place of the Chamber’s usual Membership Luncheon. Seating is very limited; so please register early! Cost is $20 in advance and $25 at the door or with reservations made after April 2. The Colleyville Center is located at 5301 Riverwalk Drive, Colleyville, Texas 76034. There is a $5 fee for invoicing, and any registrations not cancelled in advance will be billed.

Growing Your Business By Growing Your Network Grapevine C h a m b e r Investors Welcome to the 2nd Quarter of 2013. Time really does fly. In the March Newsletter, I talked about the Program of Work that your Chamber Board uses to guide the organization. I thought this month that I would discuss one of the strongest advantages of being a Chamber member. If you know our company, Blagg Tire & Service, very well and are really involved in the Chamber, you know that one of the best values we see in the Chamber is networking.

Networking is a bad word for some primarily because people are uncomfortable with doing it, much less being consistent in doing it as part of their marketing plan. I want to encourage you that networking provides some of the most effective and long lasting benefits for your company. If you’re like me, you make purchases from people based on relationships you have developed over time. In addition, you may also ask people you know and trust to recommend others for the different services you need to purchase. At Blagg Tire & Service, we have three dedicated marketing folks that their primary job is

networking and civic work. They love to help market others while gaining benefits for our company through developing great relationships. I know I order more business cards for these than anybody else in our organization because they meet so many people. The Grapevine Chamber has many different areas where you can network your business. The monthly Chamber luncheon is attended by 150-200 individuals that have the need for products and services that you sell.
