Changes at the Grapevine Chamber The Grapevine Chamber is having a great year, but unfortunately the world keeps spinning and things change. For your Chamber, the change comes in the form of a wonderful opportunity for our Chairman of the Board, Steve Haley, to be transferred from the Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center to The Brown Palace Hotel and Spa in Denver, CO, a luxury hotel, with an over 100-year history. This change will be effective June 1. We are excited for the opportunity for Steve and his wife, Maggie, and wish them both much success. As for the impact on the Grapevine Chamber, your Board of Directors voted at their Board Meeting,

May 3, to accept the Nominating Committee’s recommendation for the following appointments to the Executive Board: CHAIRMAN Joe Szymaszek, Grapevine Mills (Previously Chair-Elect)

CHAIR-ELECT Theresa Mason, MIG Real Estate (Previously Treasurer)

TREASURER Nathaniel Neal, NJ Graphic Design, Inc.

VICE CHAIR OF BUSINESS PARTNERSHIPS LeAnn Brown, Silver Oak Commercial Realty, LLC

IMMEDIATE PAST CHAIR Paul Slechta, Panda Embroidery

CEO RaDonna Hessel, Grapevine Chamber of Commerce

Before we leave Grapevine, I wanted to acknowledge and thank the outstanding staff and leadership team we have at your Grapevine

For a six month Board position remaining due to these changes, the Board appointed Jim Quinn of the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center to fill the unexpired term. With such a great Chamber and Board team, we expect the transition to be smooth and seamless. Again, we congratulate Steve and look forward to continuing to build a stronger community for our businesses and citizens.

Chamber of Commerce. They each are passionate, take great pride in what they do and represent our city in a way we can all be proud of. Additionally, I have enjoyed working with an incredible Board of Directors over the past six years - all who volunteer and care about the greater good of our community. We have been very fortunate to have made so many new friends in our nearly eight years in Grapevine - friends that we will truly miss and
