Grapevine and HEB Chambers Combine Mission: for Luncheon with Lyndy Phillips

The mission of the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce is to promote business that adds value to our community.

Vision: The vision of the Grapevine Chamber is a progressive business organization that brings relevant and essential opportunities for our investors and community to grow and prosper.

Values: Excellence Innovation Integrity & Community

The Grapevine Chamber is proud to announce Lyndy Phillips as the featured guest speaker at the next Membership Luncheon, combined with the Hurst-Euless-Bedford Chamber, July 9, at 11:30 a.m. at the Grapevine Convention Center, sponsored by the Marinas of Lake Grapevine and catered by Willhoite’s Restaurant. Don’t miss this opportunity to network with businesses from the HEB Chamber of Commerce! Lyndy Phillips is a dynamic speaker who uses humor, entertainment and inspiration to

make people happier, healthier and less stressed. Lyndy was raised on a farm, served 15 years in full-time ministry, worked in sales for seven years, and raised two children with his wife of 30 years. On top of all that, he was Executive Director for a television show about marriage. He knows a thing or two about stress and its impact on the body! At age seven, Lyndy was introduced to the stage in hometown melodramas. After learning sleight of hand at age nine, he began combining it with humorous stories and physical comedy to create his unique and funny style of motivation and entertainment.

While in college, Lyndy began speaking and performing parttime. In 2011, Lyndy transitioned to full-time and travels the country speaking and performing for churches, associations, corporations and organizations. He and his wife live in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area and have two grown children and a dog, Pepper. Make plans to attend the luncheon at the Grapevine Convention Center, located at 1209 S. Main St. (at the corner of Vine St. & Municipal Way). The cost is $25 with a reservation by 5 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, or $40 after that date. There is a $5 fee for Continued on page 3

Chamber Membership is a Winning Investment If you missed last month’s Chamber Membership Luncheon or are one of the few members that do not follow the Grapevine Chamber on Facebook or Twitter, then you may not know that the Must be Present to Win Drawing, sponsored by First Financial Bank, N.A., finally had a winner. Mark John-

son, owner of Sporthole Games, had his name drawn, and he took home $2,200 just for attending the luncheon! The pot will start over in July at $50, and the pot will increase by $50 each month that the winner is not present to claim the prize. Also at the Membership Luncheon, five individuals were lucky enough to find an envelope taped under their chair for a
