July Membership Luncheon with James Olson Join us at the July Chamber Luncheon that is also our annual joint luncheon with the H-E-B (Hurst – Euless – Bedford) Chamber of Commerce. It will be featuring special guest speaker, James Olson. James Olson Mr. was the former Chief of Counterintelligence for the CIA. The luncheon will be sponsored by Sterling’s Bookkeeping and Tax Service and catered by McAlister’s
Deli. It will be held on Thursday, July 20, at 11:30 a.m., at the Grapevine Convention Center. Olson also served as an officer in the Directorate of Operations of the CIA, with overseas assignments in the U.S.S.R., Austria and Mexico. He is a Senior Lecturer at the George Bush School of Government and Public Service, Texas A&M University, College Station. The luncheon will be in the Grapevine Convention Center, located at 1209 S. Main St. (at the
corner of Vine St. & Municipal Way). The cost is $25 with a reservation by 5 p.m., Tuesday, July 18, or $40 after that date. There is a $5 fee for invoicing, and all reservations not canceled by 1 p.m. Wednesday, July 19, will be billed. Summer is Heating Up at the Chamber summer As is in full swing, so is your Grapevine Chamber of Commerce! There are so many ways to get involved and network with your fellow Chamber members. That’s what makes the 5 Star Accredited Grapevine Chamber so special. Key networking opportunities and events are a constant. Leading off the month of July, Grapevine Craft Brewery Birthday Celebration is occurring on July 8th and benefits the Women’s Division. On July 20th, the Grapevine Chamber will be hosting our
annual joint luncheon with the H-E-B Chamber of Commerce at the Grapevine Convention Center. This luncheon features one of our most popular guest speakers, Mr. Jim Olson, former Chief of Counter-Intelligence for the CIA. Be sure to book early! On the evening of July 20th, the Grapevine Chamber will be hosting an open house from 5-7pm at the Grapevine Convention Center, celebrating our 65th year as a Chamber.
