Learn and Share Best Practices to Grow Your Business One of the biggest advantages of the Grapevine Chamber of Commerce is the quality of businesses we have in this great Chamber. Regardless of the type of industry, you can be assured that you can find a quality Chamber business to fit your needs. We always talk about networking with businesses in an effort to build relationships with companies and educating them on what is available to each member, as well as how

companies can work together to build value for one another. Most of this relates to a sales focus, but I would also like to discuss the value of looking at these Chamber companies as an opportunity to improve your business practices. By watching what other companies do, you can see best practices that can be implemented into your own company. A major part of your Chamber Board’s focus when it came to our accreditation was to benchmark our Chamber with other Chambers that were already

Your Board of Directors took time to meet and discuss best practices with these Chambers to learn the things they do well in many different areas including governance, finance, programs, human resources, etc., to learn different ways to incorporate these practices into the Grapevine Chamber. Your Board of Directors also had the opportunity to share our practices in return. It was a very helpful practice and was critical in the Chamber achieving 4-Star Accreditation.
