Great things always happening at your Grapevine Chamber: As school is in session and routines are in full swing, your Chamber continues to demonstrate its status as a Five Star accredited Chamber. In August, the Chamber dedicated its Flag Plaza. This Plaza is a tribute to the legacy families of the Grapevine business community. Leadership Grapevine took on the fund raising initiatives for this ambitious project and delivered in a big way. The plaza is a tribute to all the business leaders who formed the foundation of the Grapevine
business community as well as to the future. Take time out of your routine to check out this impressive Flag Plaza. In addition, our Past Chairman’s council recently held their annual casino night to benefit the Chamber. A fun night of gaming, food and fellowship was had by all. Thank you to the Past Chairman for executing this wonderful evening. I’d also like to express sincere appreciation and gratitude to our Women’s Division, who once again worked so hard in their efforts to insure a multitude of school children were equipped

properly with school supplies to start their school year. The Women’s Division distributed over $32,000 worth of supplies to children of the community. Job well done indeed! Finally, we hope to see you all at our annual Golf outing, Tuesday, October 2nd. Sponsorship opportunities are still available. Please contact the Chamber staff if interested in participating. Sincerely, Joe Szymaszek, Chairman of the Board General Manager, Grapevine Mills
