Women’s Division hosts 28th Annual Great Taste of Grapevine

The Grapevine Chamber Women’s Division hosted the 28th Annual Great Taste of Grapevine on May 9th at the Grapevine Vintage Railroad Train Platform Over 325 attendees gathered to sample 19 area restaurants offerings, ranging from sliders to smoked quail The platform buzzed with excitement as attendees celebrated our local restaurants and wineries, savoring outstanding food and enjoying the vibrant atmosphere

A big “thank you ” goes out to the Grapevine Convention and Visitors Bureau for their invaluable

support, advice, and encouragement in continuing to improve the Great Taste in it’s 2nd year in the new location. This growth is vital as expenditures for our charitable projects continue to rise, reinforcing the importance of Great Taste in our mission to serve the community A special acknowledgment goes to Brandi Villegas, our Great Taste Committee Chair, whose unwavering dedication and tireless efforts were crucial to the event's success

1ST PLACE FIREBIRDS WOOD FIRED GRILL

The Great Taste of Grapevine is one of two of the Women’s Division’s major fundraisers each year Funds raised from the event will be used toward 2 causes: to purchase school supply packs for GCISD students who would otherwise go without the necessary supplies to start the new year, and the Christmas Spirit Program, which provides necessities and a cash gift to the local Senior Citizens who are interviewed for the Women’s Division angel trees during the holidays 2ND

FAQ: “How do I get my name up on the wall?”

In 2019, after several years of planning, your Grapevine Chamber Board broke ground on the Blankenship Business Center, a 4,000 square foot facility at the corner of Vine and Municipal Way Built with business in mind, the Blankenship Business Center has become a flexible, affordable option for businesses of all sizes to host meetings, seminars, client appreciation events, or any other business function. This achievement wouldn’t have been possible without the generous contributions from our amazing community of donors.

When you step into the Business Center, you ’ re greeted by our Wall of Fame, a special tribute to the individuals and organizations whose donations are helping to pay off the loan for this project This wall is not just a list of names; it is a testament to the collective effort and support that brought this vision to life. So, how You Can Contribute? Donations start at $500. This unique opportunity allows you to:

Showcase your support: Your name on the wall will be seen by everyone who visits our facility, highlighting your commitment to community and growth

Be a part of something bigger: Your contribution helps us manage the financial aspects of our building, allowing us to offer more affordable and accessible meeting and event spaces.

Create lasting recognition: This is not just a donation; it’s a lasting legacy Your name will remain a part of our building’s history, inspiring future generations of community members and leaders

Every donation, big or small, plays a crucial role in supporting our mission The funds raised through these sponsorships will help us:

Pay off the loan: Reducing our debt allows us to reinvest in the community and enhance the services we offer

Maintain and improve the facility: Continuous improvements ensure that we can provide a topnotch experience for all our visitors.

Expand our reach: With financial stability, we can extend our programs, offerings and advocacy, making a positive impact on more people in Grapevine
