MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE

Multiple levels of dance geared toward the dancing actor/singer working towards their triple threat. Whether you feel at home on the dance floor or are trying dance for the first time, you can learn valuable movement skills, dance terminology, and proper technique. Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Conditioning and Technique, and Leaps and Turns are all classes to choose from. Multi-class discounts are available. ACT UP!

Know someone who is destined for the stage? Learn all about performing and acting in these “intro to the stage” classes. This class teaches the basics of acting, stage/screen presence, and collaboration, through storytelling and art activities, encouraging creativity and confidence. There will be a final performance for your family and friends. Multi–class discounts are available. IMPROV

Students will learn the basics of improv, storytelling, and stagecraft, mostly through playing skilled theater games— because you learn better when you are having fun! Students will participate in an improv show for family and friends on the last day of class to show off all their newly developed skills! Multi-class discounts are available. ACTING FOR FILM

Acting is acting, but different mediums require different skill sets. In this class you will learn how to be believable and real in front of the camera. Students also work on listening, reacting, being affected and using inner monologue, and expanding the students’ cold–reading skills. In this current world where so much is still happening by selftape, this class will be invaluable and necessary for the serious actor. Multiclass discounts are available. VOCAL TECH

For the serious singer. This class will help you work on your existing repertoire as well as help you find new pieces in all different styles of musical theater. Students will be encouraged to perform in every class and to work outside of class to research and find new material. Class will focus on vocal technique, acting the song, and audition skills, as well as repertoire. Students will learn through observation and one-on-one work. Each student will have a “mock” audition with a panel of adjudicators that will give them personal feedback. Multi-class discounts are available. BROADWAY & BEYOND

Do you love to sing and perform? You’ll have a great time rehearsing and performing in one of our music classes! These classes will address focus, concentration, and how to express mood through vocal and physical exploration. There will be a final performance for your family and friends. PERFORMANCE BASED CLASSES

Our performance classes will work to put together a performance over the course of the semester. Students will work on character development, learning music, and choreography just like our other productions, but over a longer, more relaxed time frame! Putting it together —quadruple threat Ages 10 – 18 years old will begin with a class selection of a musical to work on for the remainder of the class. To be a "quadruple threat," students will work on singing, acting, and dancing, as well as cultivating a fourth special skill, perhaps learning some of the tech elements in the performance or another skill that can set them apart from the "triple threat" competition!
