WHAT YOUTH COUNCIL HOSTS FUNDRAISER We are doing it again! Having fun and raising money to help one of our own! You’ve heard of the “Harlem Globetrotters.” Now you have a chance to see and experience the “Tennessee Globewalkers!” Please join us for an evening of fun and pure entertainment as trainers, owners, friends and supporters of the walking horse industry showcase their talent (or lack thereof) during the First Annual “Tennessee Globewalkers” basketball game taking place on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at 7 p.m. at the Liberty School gymnasium. If you are interested in playing, please contact Lauren Tillman at 901-831-2449 Julie Graham at 931-619-2520 Candy Green at 931-580-8378 We would like to thank all of you who have participated in our previous youth council events. It’s because of your participation that our past events have been a success. From the money raised at our previous events we have been able to; provide Christmas for several Bedford County families; make a wish come true for a local child that endured a very traumatic life changing event by sending him to a weekend in Philly culminating in a Philadelphia Eagles football game; paying our very own, Jeff Willis’ health insurance; make a donation to the FAST legal fund, hosting a trail ride with the proceeds paying for fun events throughout the year for youth council members. The proceeds from this year’s basketball game will be going to help Ronal Young with his medical expenses as he has recently been diagnosed with lung cancer and is expected to undergo a surgery on March 21st.
