Pure Romance. Creative Intern Winter Semester 2014-15 Interning for the second time at Pure Romance brought great insight into the company as a whole, was given a retail store to manage and oversee. The company’s first ever retail pop-up store, gaining perspective into the retail world and how it works. Aeropostale. Design Intern Summer Semester 2014 Working directly with the menswear team and as the only intern got to learn a lot about the design process through the eyes of a large corporate company. Assisting in the design process from making mood boards all the way through the fitting process and end stages of design. Pure Romance. Creative Intern Fall Semester 2013 I worked one on one with the graphic designers at the company, learning the Adobe Suites on an even deeper level. I was put to the test by making flyer’s and helping keep together the brand design strategy. Azhand Shokohi. Design Intern Winter Semester 2012-13 High-end womenswear designer based in Cincinnati, worked closely with the owner on business platforms to reformatting and updating her website and social media sites. Learning and applying the techniques to running a small business has helped me gain knowledge on the industry.

Finalist RSA Innovative Textile Design Competition , 2015 Created a line of sustainable undergarments using a medical dispensing textile that aids the mentally ill, and was chosen as a finalist in the final round of the RSA competition. President UC LGBTQ Alliance, 2011-2013 Planned once weekly meetings for one of the largest social LGBTQ groups on campus, the experience was helpful in many ways but mostly gave the knowledge on how to be a leader. Certified Trainer Server / Bartender PF Changs China Bistro, 2011- Present Working closely with customers has helps build people skills that have been able to translate into many areas of design, and is shown through the value of teamwork and dedication toward a common goal. Student Ambassador University of Cincinnati, DAAP, 2012-Present Giving tours of the program and answering any questions incoming freshmen may have. This position gives the opportunity to mentor to younger students in fashion allowing the opportunity to lead.
