Each ticket ADMITS TWO to “The Greatest Raffle on Earth” Chamber Raffle Bash. This event will be held on Friday, August 10, 2018, from 6 to 10pm at The Governor’s Inn located at 78 Wakefield Street, Rochester. Enjoy a fun filled, carnival themed evening featuring the exciting reverse raffle, sponsored by Frisbie Memorial Hospital and Waste Management! The event will also feature a buffet, games and entertainment and a few fun surprises! Runner-up prizes are $1,000, $500 and $250. There will also be many fabulous second chance prizes drawn throughout the evening for those attending the event. Winners of the Grand Prize and runner-up prizes do not have to be present to win. Motorcycle enthusiasts who wish to view the Harley-Davidson motorcycle being raffled can do so at the following locations: • Holy Rosary Credit Union at 341 Route 11 in Farmington from June 20th to July 5th • Federal Savings Bank located at 17 Wakefield Street in Rochester from July 5th- August 1st and finally; • Holy Rosary Credit Union located at 133 Brock Street in Rochester from August 1st August 10th. Tickets are also available to purchase at these locations. If you purchase your tickets at Granite Steak & Grill at 11 Farmington Road in Rochester or Windjammer’s Seafood Restaurant at 240 Portland Street in Rochester you will receive a $10 gift certificate to the restaurant. 9. Commitment to the Program The Leadership Greater Rochester program is conducted on business days. Requirements include: Reading assignments Experiential assignments prior to each session. Attendance - If a participant misses more than 2 sessions, he/she will be dropped from the program and tuition will be forfeited. Candidates must have the support and commitment of their employer. A letter of support to participate in the program from your employer must accompany this application. 10. Tuition Tuition for Leadership Greater Rochester is $500.00 payable by either the applicant and/or their employer. Scholarships are offered to those who demonstrate need. If you wish to request scholarship assistance, please attach a letter describing your need and the amount requested.

As a benefit of your Chamber membership, this public relations service is available to members only at no charge. A ribbon cutting ceremony is usually held when a business opens, moves, expands, is under new management, or celebrating an anniversary. Members (1) Should submit request for a Ribbon Cutting to the Chamber President at least 2-3 weeks in advance of the date to conduct the ribbon cutting. (Please choose two (2) possible dates.) (2) Retain a copy for your records. (3) Should consider inviting the following to their ribbon cutting ceremony: 1) owners 2) key staff members 3) anyone that helped business locate to place of business, i.e. realtor, contractor, etc. 4) family members The Chamber contacts the following to attend a member’s ribbon cutting ceremony: 1) Chamber President 2) Chamber Chairman of the Board 3) Mayor or City Council members of City/Town where business is located 4) Economic Development manager where business is located 5) Police Department where business is located 6) Fire Department where business is located 7) Rochester Main Street Director (if a downtown Rochester business) 8) Media representatives to obtain information and take photo: Foster’s Daily Democrat/The Rochester Voice The Chamber will bring ribbon and scissors to conduct the ribbon cutting ceremony. In the event media representatives are unable to attend, the Chamber will take a photo that will be provided to the media.
