Committee News By Gibson Hearn, Tri-City Christian Academy GETTING YOURSELF NOTICED One aspect of being in business, is getting yourself noticed. The Rochester Chamber of Commerce offers its members opportunities to get the word out about your business, even in this time of social distancing. The Chamber right now is offering one complimentary email blast to all its members. A great chance to get a current promotion in front of hundreds of potential clients. Also included with membership is a place for your business in the Member News section of the monthly Update newsletter, with room for a link to your business. In addition, there are two Member News e-blasts per month from the Chamber in which you can highlight special events, and there is more room for additional information and photos to give your message extra appeal. Membership Directory As part of your Chamber membership, you receive a free listing in our print and online business directory. Unfortunately, we will not be able to produce the print directory this year. The online directory generates thousands of visits and referrals to our members. The business directory is searchable by a number of categories and fields, allowing potential customers to find you using a variety of search criteria. Should you wish to have an Enhanced Listing so that your listing stands out or have your business found under additional business categories, see the attached or call us. To make sure your business directory listing is up to date,, visit the Membership Directory page on our website and type in your business name. To update your listing, log in to your member portal to make changes. If you have questions or need assistance, call Tanya at 603-332-5080 x2.

The Chamber is looking forward to thanking its members this year as part of its annual Operation Thank You. Although we won’t be able to personally greet members in person this year and hand out printed directories, amid the COVID-19 situation, the Chamber’s Ambassador Committee is leading the charge to personally call members over a 3-day period. Operation Thank You is sponsored by First Seacoast Bank and will be held from Wednesday to Friday, October 14-16 2020. Volunteers are being sought to take part in this annual effort to reach out to member businesses and thank them for their support of the Chamber. In addition to helping the Chamber reach all its members, this effort also provides a good opportunity to make connections with businesses. The Chamber will provide volunteers with a list of 10-25 businesses. Volunteers will be provided a few days in which to contact those members on their list. Contact information and information to discuss will also be provided. Our thanks to First Seacoast Bank for their support of this annual event. We hope you will consider being part of this fun effort. Please contact Tanya at the Chamber office at 603-332-5080, x2 or via email at memberservices@rochesternh.org.
