Match Racing and One Design fleet racing is increasingly becoming they way sailors want to spend their time on the water. Rules and unnecessary restrictions take some of the pure pleasure away from those who want to compete man-toman (or woman), and boat-to-boat in a competition of skill and tactical prowess. With this in mind we offer mxMatch, one of the new designs selected by the World Match Race Tour. Drawn from a long list of potential designs submitted by some of the world’s top designers, mxMatch was among a handful of designs selected. While the WMRT will be building a fleet of mxMatch boats, they do not hold exclusivity over the design. Because of their enthusiasm for the boat we feel sure that there is a global market for a new, fast, easily driven, innovative One Design fleet.
