25 Seasons of Local Entertainment for Let Me Be Frank Productions

Be Frank Productions

We’re Just Getting Started!

Written By: Kasey Schumacher, Marketing Director

We at Let Me Be Frank Productions like to think of ourselves as theater for non-theater people. If you combine an episode of Saturday Night Live with a pop concert, you might have an idea of what a show of ours includes. Let Me Be Frank Productions has been entertaining N.E. Wisconsin for 25 seasons. Since beginning in 2000, we have shared over 145 different shows with over 350,000 audience members – and we’re still going strong! We are fast becoming people’s most favorite theater destination in Wisconsin. Our all-original musicals will have you wowing at the talent, laughing in the aisle, and singing a tune of yesteryear on your way home. With titles like, “Bay Beach Boys,” “2 1/2 Belgians,” and “Fort Howard: We Wipe America,” we invite you to come and join in on the fun at the historic Meyer Theatre in downtown Green Bay.

Our next show is a beloved Northeast Wisconsin tradition — our annual “A Frank’s Christmas” show featuring holiday tunes you know and love! “A Frank’s Christmas” takes place at the Meyer Theatre, November 29-December 28, 2024. What’s this year’s show all about? Well, the holiday season is for families, food, and making memories, right? Well, that’s all June Griswoldski wants for Christmas in 1965. She would love to reconnect with her sister, Lisa Johnson. The unfortunate part is that their husbands, Ward Griswoldski and “Cousin” Eddie Johnson, don’t quite get along as brothers-in-law. A few too many games of sheepshead in 1962 left Ward empty-handed and convinced Eddie was cheating. It’s been downhill since. This year will be different though! Eddie, Lisa, Ruby Sue, and Rocky Johnson from Christmas, Michigan travel to Pulaski, Wisconsin to spend the holidays with Ward, June, Wally, and Beaver Griswoldski. Wally can’t wait to see his cousin, Ruby Sue, again. Much to his dismay, Beaver is the perfect chaperone whenever Ruby Sue is around! And Rocky, well… Rocky is just happy to be included. Can Ward and Eddie put aside their differences to make this a Christmas to remember? You’ll have to see in this all-original Christmas musical comedy!

After our Christmas show is complete, we’ll roll right into our 26th season with the following titles:

Anchorman: Hello Green Bay February 6-23, 2025

The King of Krakow April 3-19, 2025
