Biebel’s Catering & Rental: Over 120 Years in the Making!

Most corporations, families and friends need a caterer for several occasions over the course of their lifetime.
Since 1903, Biebel’s Catering & Rental has been proud to be a part of many wonderful events and memories. The Biebel family started and owned Biebel’s until the current owner, Kim Agostine, bought the company in May of 2017. As Paul Biebel likes to tell the story, he ran into Kim and began to quickly and animatedly tell her his current woes of how he lost his office manager and couldn’t even use a computer!
After working with Paul for six months and negotiating a buyout, Kim dove in head-first and started building the current version of Biebel’s Catering & Rental: a local business that strives to put out a quality product with quality ingredients in an efficient, customer servicefriendly manner. It is a philosophy that is carried throughout each department, whether it is the kitchen, rental team, caterers or event planners. Our culture believes in our company vision, believes in each other and works hard to achieve above and beyond what is expected.
WHAT MAKES A CATERING EVENT A SUCCESS?
1. Easy, efficient communication in planning the event.
2. Timely follow through. We commit to customers hearing back from us within 24 hours. 3. Competitive pricing.
4. Delicious food, is presented well.
5. Service staff is attentive.
6. All needs are met during the event serve time.
7. Take down and clean up are precise. We like to say we will leave an area better than how we found it.
8. A satisfied customer!
Hiring our current General Manager, Heather, was a big step in improving our processes, technology, scheduling and overall staff management. Heather has brought intelligence, fortitude, ideas, big picture awareness and a willingness to put the team first!
Biebel’s has made many improvements over the past few years. We have built a warehouse environment in our building to make our rental program more efficient. We re-configured the kitchen to handle higher volume. We invested in equipment and vehicles to support our growing business. Most importantly, we have invested in our staff by increasing wages, adding benefits and creating a positive work environment and team concept.
As we continue to grow, we are building smartly and working hard to grow correctly.
Biebel’s averages 60-110 events per week throughout the summer and fall. We can do a large number of events in the same day and events with large guest counts.
