Black Sheep Pub & Grill & Wedding Hall Black Sheep Pub & Grill & Wedding Hall is a restaurant and wedding venue that started as a dream for two business entrepreneurs with multiple years of business experience. Tom Anderson always had a dream of owning and operating a pub and grill even though he had no experience in the industry. He met his future partner, Bob Kiehnau, when Anderson and a group of friends played basketball for the team sponsored by the bar and restaurant Kiehnau managed. Later, Kiehnau became his business partner and together, they bought the restaurant formerly known as The Bluff in August 2015. After making extensive renovations,
including gutting the building, tearing out the bar and rebuilding the interior to match their vision, the duo opened Black Sheep Pub & Grill. After five and a half years in business, they are thriving, even after a devastating pandemic year that ended a lot of similar businesses across the country. With the government shutdown looming and 30+ weddings already booked, they took another leap of faith during COVID and built a wedding and events venue. They hosted their first wedding in August 2020 and have more than 150 weddings and events booked during the next two and a half years.

N.E.W. Beads & Jewelry N.E.W. Beads & Jewelry is Green Bay’s premier source of beads, jewelry repairs, supplies and classes. The business started when a local bead store closed. The owner, Jo Brinkley Chaudoir, knew enough interest existed in a store catering to the beading community, so she took a chance at business ownership. She knew what it was like to go into a store and get just what she needed, whether it was one gemstone or three grams of seed beads. Running a business was new to her, but she knew she wanted a store whose philosophy was focused on community...a place not only to buy beads and such but a welcoming
and joyful place. The business has a wide bead selection from all over the world as well as the tools needed to create your own jewelry. N.E.W. Beads & Jewelry is different from many bead stores because it offers free fundamental classes, one-on-one teaching, field trips and get-togethers. These include everything from a beginner’s 2-hole bead bracelet class or beginner’s working with metals class to intermediate classes on bead embroidery and right-angle weave stitching with embellishments. The store also offers studio time for metal working, torch enameling, poly clay and soldering.

RC Mowers RC Mowers USA began in the summer of 2018 as an idea. Its founders saw a gap in the industry that left folks attempting to mow steep slopes, rough terrain and hazardous landscapes with ride-on mowers and weed-whackers – putting them in peril and wasting limited resources. In September 2018, the company opened its doors at 2146 E. Deerfield Ave., Suamico, with two employees. With concern for the safety of their peers and the determination to optimize time and assets, RC Mowers’ trailblazing team expertly combines traditional parts and services with remarkable technology to create reliable, life-saving remote-operated slope mowers that take on everything

In 1915, nine members of the Green Bay Art Club held a one-week exhibit of rare and historically significant objects from the Green Bay and De Pere area. It was so popular the club decided the community needed a permanent museum; its mission at the time was to “bring the world” to Green Bay with the collection including important local artifacts as well as items from around the world. Today, the Neville Public Museum is an AAM accredited cultural institution, an honor bestowed on fewer than 5% of museums in the country. The museum is dedicated to the collection, preservation and exhibition of significant objects relevant to
Northeast Wisconsin and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. While items are sometimes purchased by specific exhibitions or programs, the vast majority of the museum’s holdings are donated by people in the region, one item at a time. These collections reflect the events, lifestyles and culture of the community for more than 100 years and are used to tell the stories in the museum’s exhibits. These real things bring history, science and art alive in ways printed pages or electronic screens cannot. Altogether, the museum has been helping to bridge communities and connect generations in Northeast Wisconsin for more than 100 years.
