GENERAL INFORMATION AGE: Participants should register according to their age as of 12/31/2022 Age Groups: 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80-89, 90-94, 95-99, 99+ CHECK-IN TIMES: Participants should be at their event venue 15 minutes prior to the starting time. Bringing your own water bottle is strongly encouraged; each location will have access to water and rest rooms. Maps and directions to each event location are available at the packet pick up location and on the website. AWARDS: Medals will be presented to the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in each age category at the event venue. The Minnesota Senior Games are “OPEN” to outof-state residents. Competition must take place to determine an award winner. If there is only one individual entered in an age group, that athlete must compete in the event in order to receive a medal. That athlete will be placed in closest age category to compete with, but not against those athletes. CANCELLATIONS / POSTPONEMENT / REFUNDS: In the event of inclement weather or unusual/extenuating circumstances, Senior Game officials reserve the right to change the format of the competition, postpone events, or cancel. Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis by the local organizing committee of the 2022 MN Senior State Games. TOURNAMENT PLAY: Unless otherwise noted, Round Robin Tournament format will be used with players advancing to a championship bracket, if needed. Tournament format subject to change.

GENERAL INFORMATION NATIONAL SENIOR GAMES: The 2022 Senior Games hosted by Visit Mankato is a qualifier for the 2023 National Senior Games held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, July 7-18, 2023. QUALIFYING FOR NATIONALS: There are a couple of ways to secure your spot for the National Senior Games: • Place in the top 4 of your age group (MN residents). • Meet the national standards for your specific sport. • Since the MN Senior Games were canceled in 2020, if you qualified in the 2019 MN Senior Games, you will qualify for the 2023 National Senior Games. HOW DO I REGISTER FOR NATIONALS? Visit Mankato will submit all qualifying results from the 2022 MN Senior Games to the National Senior Games office. Once results are verified for accuracy, athletes will receive a qualification/registration notice from the National Senior Game Association Office.
