• Debate: Each fall, GSI hosts a debate and the focus varies based on many factors, including the availability of candidates. If you are interested in sponsoring a debate, let us know, and we will keep you informed with updates in the spring or summer.

BUSINESS AFTERSCHOOL (BAS): A series of career-connected learning workshops hosted by local businesses for students in grades 6-12 in our region. Students gain real-life skills, experiential learning in a workplace, and explore career pathways. Attendees: 40-100 depending on location, parents/guardians, educators, 6-12th grade students, and community partners.
INTERNSHIP NETWORK: In collaboration with 10 regional colleges and universities, and 30 local businesses, the Internship Network creates more pathways for college graduates. minimum of two opportunities per year. Attendees: up to 50 colleges students, university/college career-focused staff, and businesses.

• Support GSI’s Education & Talent Alliance annual awards to recognize individuals in our region who are champions of improving the childcare system. Each of the 10-20 recipients will receive an award to display in their office and gift card as a token of appreciation.
