Great Big Life A VISION OF COMMUNITY. UNDERSTANDING THE HOA.
Sometimes more is more

It’s simple, you get more at Great Park Neighborhoods. More parks. More pools. More space to grill-out, play Frisbee and walk the dog. With all that “more,” we wanted to make sure there was someone to take care of it — enter the Great Park Neighborhoods Community Association (Master HOA).

Think of the Master HOA as our culture club. They help create fun throughout our community whether it’s an event, group activity or club. They are also responsible for the ongoing maintenance and improvement of the neighborhoods. That includes the amenities and common areas, as well as the enforcement of a set of architectural standards and other regulations intended to preserve the character of the community.*

*Some homes are also in a sub-association that takes care of more specific common area items, such as building maintenance or a building's surrounding landscape.

BEACON PARK A navigation-themed park that celebrates land, water and sky by including a pool, a treehouse lookout and plenty of open space.

CADENCE PARK An artful and inspiring space that has sculptures, whimsical play structures and a neighborhood pool.

NOVEL PARK A place for the new and unusual, Novel Park inspires everything from photo ops to pooch playdates at the dog park.

We like to think of ourselves as a collection of parks surrounded by homes. After all, the parks here truly are the heart of our neighborhoods. And the most beautiful thing about these shared spaces is that they’re connected by a network of trails, making it easy to explore our community and everything it has to offer.

The majority of this natural beauty and recreation is cared for by our Master HOA. They manage park and playground equipment, maintain the landscaping and sponsor programs from park concerts to community blood drives in partnership with City of Hope — making our parks feel like an extension of everyone’s backyard.

PARASOL PARK A park centered around community with plenty of places to get together. Like an elevated deck for stargazing, an outdoor kitchen with BBQs and a greenhouse where neighbors can grow and harvest together.

PAVILION PARK A nature-friendly space that includes a community greenhouse, neighborhood terrace, herb garden and walking trails.

THE POOLS A resort style complex with multiple pools, sand volleyball courts, outdoor fitness areas and more.

RISE PARK A meandering greenway, inspired by the native landscape, that connects home to nature while promoting mind/body balance.

SOLIS PARK A two-part park where pools, playgrounds, trails and community spaces mix with radiant views and top-tier schools.

Great big life at Great Park Neighborhoods and all around

Turning neighbors into friends starts with great social programming. That's why Great Park Neighborhoods and the Master HOA supports and organizes a wide variety of clubs, activities and events for residents. Whether it’s movie nights in the park, bike clubs for the pedal-lovers or gardening workshops for aspiring green thumbs, the social calendar is always full. So, grab your weekend shorts, come out and get to know your community and the people who live here.

and Greenhouses

The community gardens and greenhouses host a variety of monthly classes and workshops, covering everything from garden creation and maintenance to art and wellness tips to composting and growing organic produce. Oh yeah, and there’s even harvesting and cooking demonstrations.

In 2014, Great Park Neighborhoods broke the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest line of pumpkins at our annual Let It GLOW event. That’s a lot of gourds.

“There’s

nothing better than live music in the park. A warm summer’s night, surrounded by friends and neighbors — and food trucks to boot! All within walking distance of our house. Just remember to bring a lawn chair.”

What’s a gardening class without a greenhouse?

At Great Park Neighborhoods, you’ll never have to know. As a resident, you’ll have the opportunity to use and reserve amazing spaces for your clubs and classes, family get-togethers and solo adventures. In fact, the Master HOA maintains the creation and maintenance of all kinds of facilities — from outdoor pizza ovens to overlook decks and unique community buildings. It’s kind of amazing.

Lots of incredible installations have been commissioned, integrating creativity into the landscape of our neighborhoods and making art accessible to everyone. |

Great Park Neighborhoods has 21 community pools (to date) to enjoy, including The Pools resort park.

That’s right, we called our 8-acre water park, “The Pools.”

But don’t let the name fool you because there’s plenty to do on dry land. Whether you want to swim, volley, cook, lounge or exercise — our pools are the place for you.
