NEW FEDERAL REGULATIONS

All dairy animals born after March 11, 2013 (heifers including barren heifers) steers and bulls must be officially ID’d with a federal approved ear tag. No untagged dairy animal may be shipped interstate without the ID tags from the premise of origin and a health certificate stating the same. Approved official ear tags may be purchased from the Rocky Mountain Lab @ 303-477-0049. For further clarification of these new federal regulations, you may contact the Colorado State Veterinary office @ 303-239-4161 or the State Veterinarian for your state.
