Tuesday, January 17, 2017 1000 head of feeder cattle were sold today at the Greeley Producers Stock Show Sale, the second of two special feeder sales for the season. Buyer demand was strong with outstanding quality cattle all the way through. Cattle from CO, WY and CA were all represented. Wednesday, January 18, 2017
Over 400 head of slaughter cattle sold today at Greeley with prices overall following a slightly lower futures market this week. Clean, fleshy utility beef cows ranged 55.00-61.50 with lean cows bringing 51.00-59.00. Young open cows ranged $62.50-70.00. Utility Holstein cows ranged $52.00-58.00 and leans ranged $48.50-57.50
