With the safety of our Garden family always on our minds, please be aware that all programs, events and policies are subject to change as the situation with the COVID–19 pandemic evolves. Watch for the latest updates via email, Facebook and our website.

Don't miss out! If you're receiving the printed version of the newsletter, it means we don't have an

email address for you. During this time of continuous change, we encourage you to update your email to receive communications from us that are much more timely and include updates on what's in bloom, virtual learning opportunities, gardening tips and more. Please consider doing so at GBBG.org/Email.

As we look ahead to autumn, we’re reminded that change is inevitable. 2020 has thrown us some curveballs, but our Garden community has shown that we can adapt and innovate. As we reflect on this summer, I assure you we’re also thinking about fall and winter, including how we update the WPS Garden of Lights experience. We’ll share more with you in October.

Garden Volunteers Many have reached out to express interest in volunteering. As with many things, the COVID–19 pandemic has had a direct impact on our volunteer opportunities. We will continue to evaluate our needs and look forward to when we can welcome new volunteers.

I encourage you to please join us on Thursday, October 22 for our Annual Report to the Community to learn about the past year’s accomplishments and the election of new Board Members. At this point, we are still deciding if this event will be held in person or virtually. Registration will be required and an invitation with more details will be sent in September.

At this time, we are still undecided on whether we’ll be able to hold the Volunteer Appreciation Potluck. Watch for more updates this fall.

Due to the evolving COVID–19 pandemic, we’ve also had to make the difficult decision to cancel the final concert in our Les Stumpf Ford Grand Concert Series–Brews, Bistros & Bonfires with Heartache Tonight: A Tribute to the Eagles. We plan to reschedule this event for September 2021.

For more information on our volunteer program, please contact Diane Leibham, Volunteer Coordinator, at 920.491.3691 ext. 131 or dleibham@gbbg.org.
