Around The Clock...
24 Hours in The Life of Greene County Greene County is chock full of Smiling Faces and Happy Places. Every day we pass by our friends and neighbors doing every day things we all take for granted. Some things are mundane and others are extraordinary, but all are woven into the fabric of the life of our communities. Your newspaper, The Greenville Sun, is in the unique position of capturing those moments and recording them for today and into the future. The Sun staff traveled city streets and back roads throughout Greene County visiting and asking folks if we could take a picture of them doing what they do. We can’t say “Thank You” enough to everyone that contributed. As with any endeavor we are most grateful to our advertisers that supported Around The Clock. Please visit these businesses and say “Thank You.” Without them, and you being yourselves doing what you do, Around The Clock would not be possible. A universal comment we hear from readers of The Greeneville Sun is, “ We sure would like to read some good news for a change. There is so much hurt and violence in our world, a little good news would go a long way to making me feel better about myself and our communities.” That is exactly what we hope to accomplish with Around The Clock. It is pure Smiling Faces and Happy Places. In closing, and at the top of our list is a request to hear from you. Tell us what you think. Offer us your ideas. Our goal is to deliver more happy news quarterly, featuring our friends and neighbors throughout Greene County. So, sit back and browse Around The Clock. Who knows? You might see someone you know, a family member or a familiar place.
