Colton is dedicated to his sport as well as his educationand is currently ranked second in his class. He is active in hiscommunity and is involved with Future Farmers of America, Experimental Aircraft Association, Boy Scouts of America and several others. He played in the First Team All-District Baseball Tournament and was selected Defensive Football player of The Year twice. Congratulations Colton!

He participated in The Greene County Youth Leadership Program. Zander received Honors and was in dual enrollment.

Ethan is a leader on and off the court. While participating in multiple sports and winning awards his basketball recognition began in the seventh grade when he was named AAA MVP and seventh grade Boys’ Basketball Tournament MVP. He played AAU basketball last year with The Wolfpack and was active off the court in concessions as well as with Parent – Teacher Organization function.

Jenna Baines — Greeneville
Jenna earned the title of State Champion in 2021, finished second in 2022 and placed third in 2023.she has twice been a member of the Tennessee USA Wrestling Girls National Team as well as Southeast Regional Champion.
Jenna is tough and perseveres through tough times. She lost a match at this year’s state tournament, but rather than giving up she fought back and earned a thirdplace finish.
In addition to her wrestling career, she volunteers backstage at GHS chorus events.

Aidan is ranked #1 in the state and 170 th nationwide for all grade levels. His volunteer activities include raising funds for St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, the Brandt Snedecker Foundation.

Chloe’s sophomore year she was recognized as Outstanding GHS JV player, as First Team District Server of The Year and District JV and Varsity MVP.
In her junior year she earned the title of GHS defensive player of the year as well as GHS MVP and selected as District regular season Player of The Year and All State player.
In her final season at GHS she has been recognized as Conference and District Player of The Year, a District All-Tournament and All State player.

Gavin is Co-valedictorian of his class, high school representative to the county school board, recipient of the Presidential Scholarship and placed 3 rd in the state FBLA Computer Game and Simulation Programming competition. He accumulated more than 300 hours of community service volunteering at Isaiah House, Hope Center and Crossroads Church just to mention of the many he has been active in.
Due to COVID Gavin’s tennis career was cut short as they did not field a team his Freshman and Sophomore years.
In spite of the challenges, he worked hard to earn the recognition as one of his team’s top seeded players. He has excelled in honors and AP classes while balancing his responsibilities to his family and friends.

Lana Click — Greeneville
Lana set a school record in the co-ed 4x100 relay and was selected for the Captain’s Award in Volleyball as well as Outstanding JV Volleyball player and received the Student-Athlete Award.
She taught Vacation Bible School and acted in Judgement House at First Baptist Church. An active volunteer, Lana assisted with GHS Kid’s volleyball camp and served at the FCA banquet.
She is a member of the National Honor Society and participated in a mission trip to assist and serve a church in Talladega, Ala.

Taliah is a member of the National Honor Society and Beta Club. She earned a berth in the State Track and Field tournament two years in a row.
She has been an A/B honor roll scholar attaining perfect attendance and will graduate with honors.
In spite of the loss of her eyesight in one eye she continues to play and challenge herself as well as being chosen as team of the girls basketball team.
Taliah is a leader in her church’s youth program, provided childcare at the FCC Appreciation Night event and for three years served as a Kid’s camp counselor.

The 2023 Best of Preps Coach of the Year Award goes to Coach James Buchanan of North Greene High School.
Coach Buchanan was unable to attend the ceremony due to a previous commitment.
