What is the Bell Aliant Learning Centre Premium Service? The Bell Aliant Learning Centre is a web based subscription service that contains award winning video content for schools, teachers and students, who can search, stream and download content that has been correlated to Atlantic Canada provincial curriculum for every grade level. The Bell Aliant Learning Centre is available to teachers and students 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, accessible from school or from home. Canadian owned and operated, Distribution Access is the provider of content to the Bell Aliant Learning Centre. Distribution Access is one of the country’s leading providers of the world’s best educational video programs and multimedia content and has been serving the Atlantic Canadian educational community for over 20 years. Why Choose Bell Aliant Learning Centre Premium Service? The Bell Aliant Learning Centre Premium Service allows you to download any of the 30,000 clips or the 4,300 full length programs in the library. You can use them in your own computers or SMART Boards, or even burn DVDs to add to your school library. We now feature France24 News Highlights clips as our current events programming. The France24 world-news clips are gathered by the France24 professional newsreporting network, and available to Premium Service subscribers. The Daily Planet video science magazine library is also available only to Premium Service subscribers. All of the titles and clips in the library are matched to provincial curriculums and can be easily searched by this filter, as well as by keyword, grade level or grade range. There are now over 4,300 titles on the Premium Service (over 1,300 more titles than the basic service), and new titles are added monthly to the Premium Service only. We have also added over 1,500 Post Secondary Education videos that target High School advanced placement and Level 1 high school curriculums. Supporting teacher guides, lesson plans and study guides are also on the site.
