Over the years, Greenspeed has become an expert in ecological detergents with a focus on Cradle to Cradle certification.
In 2012, our products were the first to obtain the Cradle to Cradle® certification in the professional cleaning industry. Today, we offer more than 25 C2C certified products to help shape a sustainable future!
Our ambition is to develop cleaning solutions with a positive, restorative effect on people and the environment.
Zero waste
Greenspeed is committed to producing its products based on the circular economy model, where there is no waste.
Cradle to Cradle® is a quality model for assessing products based on their favourable contribution to people and the environment. Only products that are designed for future use, are safe for both people and the environment and are made using sustainable production processes are eligible for certification.
Healthy and Effective
Our C2C-certified detergents are made from renewable, plant-based ingredients. And that’s just the start!
They were even awarded the highest possible score, Platinum, in the Material Health category. This means that our detergents do not contain any harmful substances or volatile organic compounds (VOCs). This means the detergents have a minimal impact on human health.
Sustainable future
Finally, if the detergents are released into the environment, they have a minimal impact on aquatic life and are biodegradable. They are easy to use and surprisingly effective with guaranteed clean and hygienic results.
For the packaging, we opt for recycled plastic and plastic based on sugar cane. The packaging is 100% recyclable, while we reduce the amount of waste thanks to our refill packaging. We generate 50% less packaging waste than the average detergent to contribute to a cleaner planet.
PRODUCTION PROCESS
It's not just our products that are environmentally friendly; our production process itself is also environmentally friendly.
Our detergents are produced in an ecological factory in Boulogne-sur-Mer We source our ingredients from European partners as much as possible to minimise our carbon footprint.
The plant runs entirely on renewable energy, thereby doing its bit for the environment. The green roof and sustainable building materials ensure excellent thermal insulation. We also handle water in a sustainable way! We flush our sanitary facilities with rainwater, and during the production process we clean our filling lines in an innovative way that does not require any water.
