Greenspeed’s vision is in line with the Cradle to Cradle philosophy. We have the ambition to develop hygiene solutions with a positive and restorative impact on people and the environment. We want to make products where there is no such thing as waste.
WHAT WE DO
We are always looking for healthy and recyclable materials that fit within the biological or technical cycle. We try to limit packaging. We use water and energy intelligently during production. And we make our production socially responsible.
Our first products were certified 10 years ago. These detergents are biodegradable, non-toxic, and safe for humans and nature. Since then, Cradle to Cradle has been our starting point for all innovations. Our products have to be surprisingly effective.

We are committed to making our products fit within the circular economy model, where there is no waste. The circular system has two material cycles: a biological cycle (residues return safely to the natural environment after use) and a technical cycle (product components can be reused at a high quality level). With our Cradle to Cradle detergents and 100% circular Re-belle microfibre cloth, we’re the pacesetters in this area.

Greenspeed splits its production into two separated production flows: ecological detergents and microfibre products.
Our centrally located warehouse in Antwerp ensures fast delivery around Europe (and the world via its port, road and rail network.
DETERGENT PRODUCTION PROCESS
Our detergent production process requires 5 basic ingredients such as surfactants, solvents, acids, complexing agent and packaging material, which is 75% plant-based and 25% recycled plastics.
The basic flow is shown below in the chart with the origins of the ingredients expressed in % from the respective country:
1. Surfactants (DE 89% & IT 11%)

GREENSPEED SALES MARKETS
Greenspeed has an annual turnover of 10 million EUR and continues to grow annually. Via distribution partners we operate in +30 countries around the globe. Our key markets are focused on EU regions with Benelux, France, Germany and UK as the key areas.
The rest of Europe continues to grow as shown below on the EU map; all exported from our warehouse in Antwerp.
OUR PRODUCTION
DETERGENTS:
Our detergents are produced in our ecological factory in Boulogne-sur-Mer, France. We prefer to buy the ingredients from European partners to minimize the environmental footprint.
The factory operates with 100% renewable energy sources. The ‘green roof’ and the sustainable building materials ensure excellent thermal insulation.

MICROFIBRE PRODUCTS:
The production process of the Nordic Swan products complies with strict environmental requirements. Manufacturing is carried out according to ILO (International Labour Organization) standards, ensuring socially responsible manufacturing. The ILO is a United Nations agency that specialises in labour standards.
We ensure that all employees can work in healthy conditions. For this we have the production sites audited according to the Sedex 4-pillar scheme for social monitoring of working conditions.
SDG PIONEER
Greenspeed is committed to creating cleaning solutions that have a positive impact on people and the environment. That is why we are committed to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which are a global agenda to create a more sustainable future by 2030.
We are actively working on our SDGs and have already achieved several certifications for our actions. Since 2023 we also carry the title of SDG Pioneer, an award conferred by Cifal-Unitar.

Our focus is on the SDGs: Water (SDG 6), Health (SDG 3), Decent Work (SDG 8), Responsible Production (SDG 12), and Climate Action (SDG 13).
To achieve our SDG goals, we undertake various actions:
• Use of biodegradable formulas to reduce the impact on water.
• Utilization of rainwater for toilet flushing and cleaning of filling lines with air in production.
• Up to 90% water savings with the spray method and quality microfiber cloths.
• Use of ergonomic mop systems and microfiber cloths for a healthy cleaning experience.
• Avoidance of harmful ingredients in detergents and Cradle to Cradle® certification.
• Investment in employees through training, skill development, and wellness surveys.
• Use of sustainable and fair RSPO palm oil in our products.
• External audits to improve the social impact of production in Asia.
• Participation in the social economy by using bespoke companies for projects.
• Circular products made from renewable or recycled resources.
• Sustainable innovations such as the Re-belle and Probio Tab Range.
• Focus on locally produced products that respect biodiversity.
• Use of renewable detergents and ecological production
