PACE Awards
The Hilton on Pensacola Beach was the venue for the 63rd Annual Pensacola Area Commitment to Excellence (PACE) Awards by the Greater Pensacola Chamber on March 28. Over 350 guests attended the event, with 30 sponsors that helped to make this evening possible, however, Titanium Wireless was the Title Sponsor. With eight different categories, the numerous nominees were narrowed down to eight deserving individuals in the Pensacola Community. Kara Cardona was named Business Leader of the Year; Sheriff Chip Simmons, Community Leader of the Year; and, Grover Robinson IV, Spirit of Pensacola, just to name a few of the recipients. PACE Awards are given each year by the Greater Pensacola Chamber to honor and recognize the outstanding individuals in the community who are local leaders in business, civics, education, etc. Todd Thomson, President, and CEO of the Greater Pensacola Chamber spoke of the night’s mission, “We have so many wonderful people in Pensacola and in Escambia County who do so much for our community. It’s always an honor to celebrate these people who exemplify excellence of what it means to be a Pensacolean.”
