What is your hometown and how did you end up in the Pensacola area?
I grew up in rural Maine in a small town named East Holden on the way from Bangor to Bar Harbor. My best friend who lived 4 miles down the road moved to Pensacola over 25 years ago. After visiting her here for almost two decades, I knew that I wanted to live here. I’ve been here almost 4 years now.
What is your profession and what led you to choose it?
I work with the Better Business Bureau. I am a Trust Advisor that shares the BBB’s vision of an ethical marketplace where buyers and sellers can trust each other and the BBB’s mission to be the leader in advancing marketplace trust. It is a perfect t for me in Pensacola. In my previous professional career, I had plenty of opportunities to hone my natural talent of connecting business owners and consumers with one another to move them ahead in the world. Being a champion for business in my local community is my passion.
What are some of your favorite things about Pensacola?
All the wonderful festivals, fairs, live music, and outdoor activities for the community. Pawdi Gras, Pensacola Seafood Festival, and Bands on the Beach are my favorites. Every weekend there are at least 3 to 10 activities to choose from. Pensacola is unique because at one moment you can be enjoying the downtown vibe and within minutes you can be out at the beach enjoying all the bene ts of beach life. Three words that best describe you.
Knowledgeable, Natural-Connector, Vivacious.
Favorite place for going out?
My favorite places to dine out with friends are Drift, Restaurant Iron, and Agapi Bistro + Garden. My favorite places to dine out with my dog are Red Fish Blue Fish, Cafe Nola, and The Wine Bar on Palafox. My favorite thing to do for entertainment/outdoor activity is a personal musical beach crawl on Pensacola Beach. Starting at Paradise Bar and Grill, I listen to the band and when they take a break, I move on to the next great establishment to listen to their band and so on until I end my afternoon at The Sandshaker. What is one thing that you do not go a day without?
Bringing Gemini to one of our great dog parks - Dog Beach West Pensacola Beach, Shoreline Bark Park, and Bayview Dog Beach are her favorites.
