St George’s Year Nine Art Projects: Spring & Summer Terms 2016 Early in the Spring Term all Year Nine students will visit: MAXXI & Outdoor Festival of International Street Art. The research from these two galleries (sketches, videos, photography and notes) will help you create original collages, paintings, drawings and printmaking work for a project entitled: Mapping and Measuring the MAXXI In your final project of the year (and Y9 exam in Art) your trip research will support your work in stencil based spray-paint and silk-screen printing for Street Art Portraits The Investigation Extension and Challenge Unit for Mapping and Measuring the MAXXI focuses on the work of Zaha Hadid (the architect of the MAXXI. Additional key artist/architects for your Spring Term project will include:
