José Parlá (born 1973) started painting in the early 1980s, exhibiting his works in the streets of Miami. The Brooklyn based artist has been exhibiting internationally since 2000. Parlá is a polyglot of stories and memories who engages in the sub-cultures and values of urban life, and shares the natural world of the elsewhere community he observes and documents by creating a body of work that is at once universal, engaging, glorious, and mind-expanding to see.
Elbow Toe Under the name Elbow Toe, Brooklyn based artist Brian Adam Douglas has been pasting his distinctive woodcuts, stencil work, large-scale charcoal drawings and collages onto the walls of cities all around the world throughout the past decade. His diverse practice is anchored by an interest in the human gesture as a powerful form of communication, one charged with unspoken narratives and he continually transforms public space into a stage for these private moments
Douglas’ work has always dra myth, symbolism and poetry

Swoon (born 1978 in New London, Connecticut), is a street artist who specializes in life-size wheatpaste prints and paper cutouts of human figures. She studied at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and started doing street art around 1999 and large-scale installations in 2005. Swoon regularly pastes works depicting people, often her friends and family, on the streets around the world. She usually pastes her pieces on uninhabited locations such as abandoned buildings, bridges, fire escapes, water towers and street signs. Her work is inspired by both art historical and folk sources, ranging from German Expressionist wood block prints to Indonesian shadow puppets.

Faile
Signature mass culture-driven iconography.
Faile is a Brooklyn-based artistic collaboration between Patrick McNeil and Patrick Miller. Since its inception in 1999, Faile has been known for a wide ranging multimedia practice recognizable for its explorations of duality through a fragmented style of appropriation and collage. While painting and printmaking remain central to their approach, over the past decade Faile has adapted its signature mass culture-driven iconography to vast array of materials and techniques. Faile’s work is constructed from found visual imagery, and blurs the line between “high” and “low” culture, but recent exhibitions demonstrate an emphasis on audience participation.

Bast fig — 1
Pivotal figure in the international street art movement. Bäst is the quintessential artist representing Brooklyn, New York. He is also one of the few pivotal figures in the international street art movement to retain a considerable degree of anonymity. Indeed, it is often debated whether he really exists or may be a pseudonym for a side project by another major artist. Without wishing to dispel any enigmatic spell this may cast, we can confirm that he is an individual artist working in a relatively conventional manner.

ral figure within a new breed of young ts.
Conor Harrington’s blend of the historical and hypermodern is unsurpassed. The Irish former graffiti artist still paints outdoor murals worldwide to considerable acclaim, while enjoying a meteoric rise in his gallery career. Conor’s lauded large scale paintings fuse realist figurative work inspired by old masters with abstractions taken from the graffiti scene that nurtured his talents. He is a central figure within a new breed of young artists tackling socio political themes using fine art techniques in a context formerly reserved for street artists.
Banksy

The most famous artist of his generation. Banksy has become arguably the most famous artist of his generation, having risen from humble beginnings as an outsider even in the subculture of graffiti art. Alongside other visionaries such as Ron English, he is credited with graffiti’s transition from the aerosol abstracts and “bubble writing” favoured in the 1980s to the narrative-driven “street art” of today.
