Brief
Concept
Deliverables
Create a copy-led, integrated campaign that uses Sky’s unique personality to thrill and excite current and future customers through eye-catching headlines, scripts, long copy or stories. With so many ways to watch TV and movies, and new competitors entering the market all the time, Sky needs to stand out from the noise.
The concept of this brief was to create a micro-site for Sky in which copy-led headlines where followed up with great Sky content.

Research & Context
To gain a better understanding of the competition sky have i had a look at some of the competitors advertising, from what i can see it is all fairly similar the use of celebrity being very prevalent. Virgin Media use David Tennant to market their products in much the same way as sky use celebrity.

Freeview is the only competitor to use no celebrities to endorse their product which is refreshing in my opinion and the marketing of Freeview i feel is a lot more customer friendly than others.

Development
Development
In the development of this brief i got caught in two minds as to what i was going to do, i wanted to either create a strict copy-led campaign or create a microsite as seen in the first board.

I wanted to focus on the words of sky, what makes sky better than its competitors and the great multi channel offerings they provide their customers.

Micro-Site
Outcomes
This is the outcome of the micro-site, i decided to somewhat combine the two ideas i had by using carefully selected copy-led headers to lead into an example of the great content that sky provide. The user would be presented with for example “Moments would then scroll down and their would be a great moment that has been televised by Sky, and this would carry on throughout the site.

I am happy with the outcome of this brief, for a fairly quick turnaround i think it presents some good outcomes, and i think it is evident that i have built on my skills in web from second year and, writing this at the end of third year, i think you can now see that i have progressed on further from this.
