Ready for adventure The Dungog region is increasingly popular with the outdoor adventure set. Mountain biking has received a boost with the newly created flow track through the Dungog Common which is attracting families of mountain bike riders of up to 400 on a weekend and 40 to 60 riders on a weekday. It has also generated positive publicity including a cover story in a June edition of Newcastle Weekly magazine and a feature video on the Destination NSW website. Over the past few years we have been seeing an increase of both motorbike and pushbike riders enjoying our country roads. The steeply winding Bingleburra Road with its amazing views has been getting quite a workout. The team from Ride Dungog are keen to work with locals to continue to develop riding locations and events for both mountain and road bikes in our area. More biking inside...
