Q: What do I do if a Medicare Sales Representative calls orcontacts me?

You may receive a call from an unknown phone number or you could be approached at local stores by a Medicare Sales Representative. If a Medicare Sales Representative reaches out to you, we encourage you NOT to make any immediate changes to your health insurance coverage. Please reach out to a GRHC Eligibility Clerk for assistance and guidance on what may be the best plan for your needs. In addition, bring any mail you have received from these plans and review it with an Eligibility Clerk before replying.

Q: What do I do if I accidently enroll in a Medicare Part C Plan?

If you accidentally enroll in a Medicare Part C Plan, GRHC Eligibility Clerks may be able to assist you in dis-enrolling as it could impact your coverage from GRHC. During the Medicare Open Enrollment (October 15 - December 7), you are able to change from a Medicare Advantage Plan back to Traditional Medicare. During the Medicare Advantage Open Enrollment Period (January 1- March 31), you can also dis-enroll from your Medicare Advantage Plan and return to Traditional Medicare. However, please speak to a GRHC Eligibility Clerk to see if you may qualify to be dis-enrolled if outside the Open Enrollment Period.

Q: What happens if I decide to keep my Medicare Part C Plan?

If you remain on a Medicare Part C Plan and are a Purchased Referred Care eligible patient: PRC will not be able to assist with coordinating referrals. Patients would be responsible for arranging and paying for all doctor visits outside of GRHC. Dialysis services may be limited and can result in financial responsibility to the patient.

For questions regarding your benefits, please contact our Eligibility Clerks: (520) 562-3321 Ext 1204 or 2737
