Achieving Their Goals Despite the talent of Coach
Lyie and the skills of 20 booters,
the team ended a frustrating season with three wins, three
ties and eight losses. Averaging 1-6 goals per match would put any soccer team on top of the
season, but that wasn't the case
for the 1983 GCC Soccer Team Allowing only 22 goals in 14 matches, the squad defeated Alliance, St. Vincent and Edin-
boro. Overtime ties came be tween GCC and Slippery Rock and Indiana - Division II teams.
