Mycotoxin

INTRODUCTION
Mycotoxins are secondary fungal metabolites occurring on common agricultural crops. Once fed to farm animals, they negatively impact the immune system, reducing performance and health parameters and thus, profitability of animal production as well as return of investment.
MINAZEL® is our mycotoxin detoxification solution for combating negative effects of polar mycotoxins.
FEATURES
MINAZEL® is characterized by high clinoptilolite content in the zeolite mineral (≥ 80%), absence of heavy metals and radionuclides, as well as high cation exchange capacity. The three-dimensional lattice structure of clinoptilolite has easily replaceable positive ions - cations (Na+, K+, Mg2+, Ca2+), which makes its surface area available for mycotoxin binding.
APPLICATION
MINAZEL® is used in all farm animal species and aquaculture during high mycotoxin contamination of feed, or preventively.
2
Ammonia control
Reduced ammonia levels in the litter.
Numerous laboratory and field trials performed worldwide show that MINAZEL® has following benefits:
1
Proved adsorption
Reduced negative effects of polar mycotoxins.
MODE OF ACTION
Adsorption, related to the quick and irreversible adhesion of polar mycotoxins (aflatoxins, ergot alkaloids).
Reduced release of ammonia into the farm and environment.
Stability in a wide pH-range (1–10).
Improved performance
Accelerated growth, lowered FCR, increased egg number and quality.
