Vertical dock

Page 1

The vertical storing dock is the perfect charging solution for systems and applications that require strict temperature control and high level of cleanliness. This system, attached to other components such as inflatable shelters and sectional door, provide a better control of the internal temperature, reducing the risk of door damages and minimize waste inlet. KEY FEATURES: • Reduces energy loss in refrigerated trucks as had demonstrated the study of Polytechnic University. It improves efficiency and minimizes energy loss, making an ideal vertical dock for refrigerated trailers and facilities that require high levels of health, such as the food industry or pharmaceutical solution. When not in use, the dock is kept in vertical position, thus allowing complete closing the head to the ground. • The Control Panel makes it simple and efficient. Sequentially used, it savings loading and unloading time. • Made in embossed sheet 6/8 for the base and 13/15 embossed sheet for fixed lip. Topes 500 x 250 x80-rolled

SECURITY FEATURES: 1. Speed hydraulic fuse prevents the platform from falling in the case of a handle breakdown or hydraulic solenoid failure. 2. Lateral protections are highly visible to comply with regulations. 3. Sensor that communicates the position of the dock system, warning him when it is situated in its safe position. 4. Insurance output 76mm drivers prevent the trucks are leaving the transit area. 5. Safety mast for maintenance. 6. Sensor that allows the level of the dock constant on the truck easier loading and avoiding sudden shocks during transit. 7. STOP button on the control station holding the dock in his position during an emergency.

APPLICATION: 1. Is stored vertically so the door remains closed. 2. Truck doors can be closed and the driver has no need to leave the cab. 3. Wizard opens the doors of the truck from inside the building and down the pier to reach the ideal position. 4. The process of loading and unloading is carried out as in a conventional dock.

COMPARATIVE CONVENTIONAL DOCK

VERTICAL

CONVENTIONAL

• Capacity load: 6 dynamic tons and 9 static tons • Motor 1.5 Kw

• Low load capacity requires additional beams to ensure stability.

• Double-acting cylinder

• Increased risk of accident in maintenance.

• The truck can open its doors in the warehouse so cold chain is not broken, and there is no waste of time.

• Need more pit dimensions, which increase the price of facilities.

• Dimensions: 2200 mm wide X 1825 mm high

• Independent moat, whereas the vertical one is easy to clean and to run

• Need for smaller pit

• Located below the sectional door, the door is supported by it causing thermal runaway. • The control panel is a model of relay style with exterior mechanical buttons that could be subject to damage

FULL LOAD POINT WITH INFLATABLE SHELTER Inflatable Shelter provides an efficient seal and mounted on the bottom of the access door to the tank without obstructions, therefore it easier to clean and maintain. The shelter inflates around the truck, which ensures the seal pressure is superior to traditional shrink wraps. The consumption of shelter ventilator uses the cold air inside the bags inflated to maintain constant temperature inside the cargo area. For optimal results Alapont recommends using inflatable shelter combined with the vertical dock. These wraps act as insulators and improve levels of cleanliness and hygiene while they save money by reducing energy costs.

STUDY ON ECONOMIC SAVINGS A study in Valencia, Spain in 2010, has demonstrated that the when the vertical dock storage, combined with the inflatable shelters were mounted on facilities that had chilled as fish and vegetable products it permitted energy savings achieved. The diagrams represented here are illustrating the financial savings of city CO2 emission. The results vary depending on the type of facility (storage of frozen food and fresh food) local weather and time of day at the time of loading and unloading. The study estimated that the springs will save vertical storage facilities Valencia (at that time 49 loading docks) an estimated â‚Ź 168,000 a year. The facilities that handled frozen products experienced a total savings of 57.2%, followed by facilities refrigerated products.
