ear partners, distributors, customers and staff: this great family raises a toast to an excellent harvest. The peak moment, the harvest, is reaching its end. These are exciting days because we have collected the fruit of an entire year from the terroirs that we so diligently care for. Time to wait for the new vintages of our unique wines.

erras Gauda and argentinean winery Alpamanta promote a research project to improve soil biodivesity.
Environmental sustainability guides this new international partnership project between this winery in the Southern Hemisphere that practices biodynamics and Terras Gauda, with very different climates, soils and varieties. We start from two opposite latitudes: the Northern Hemisphere - Southern Hemisphere, with vineyards at different altitudes (50-170 meters in the case of Terras Gauda, around 950 in the case of Alpamanta); slate soils that provide mineral notes as opposed to three types of textures (sand, clay and silt); a white variety, AlbariĂąo, as opposed to a red, Malbec; as well as different climatic conditions and cultivation methods.

The restoration of the microbiota will lead to a better balance of the essential elements for the soil and for the plants. This will trigger a specific response in the vine, known as induced resistance, which stimulates the capability of the plant’s immune system to cope naturally with microorganisms that are harmful to the grapevine.
The project is focused on restoring soil biodiversity
