APescia Fiorentina, in Maremma, Francesca Serena Monghini e il marito Massimo Masini dal 2007 hanno trasformato in realtà il sogno di fare vini di territorio, come i DOC Capalbio. Le loro vigne sono composte da Vermentino, Located in Pescia Fiorentina, near Grosseto, Francesca Serena Monghini and of her Massimo Masini of making wines expressive of the terroir, as the DOC Capalbio area. Parliamo di 5 ettari vitati e coltivati a regime biologico (a cui si è aggiunto un nuovo ettaro di Vermentino), 10 etichette, 15.000 bottiglie annue. Francesca e Massimo sono anche fra i promotori dell’associazione culturale Capalbio è vino, nata per valorizzare e sottolineare la cultura enoica locale, e del progetto Arte e vino che ogni anno prevede un’installazione temporanea d’arte nelle tenute delle cantine aderenti. L’amore per l’arte balza subito agli occhi di chi ha la fortuna di visitare La Vigna sul Mare, dove è presente una mostra permanente di quadri di Gerardo Masini, in arte Gimas, rimpianto padre di Massimo. Dal 2018 i slm ai margini del bosco della Capita, con uno splendido affaccio sul di Giannutri. Tutte le referenze riescono a presentare egregiamente il territorio, con la loro scia fresco-sapida che invoglia a nuovi assaggi. Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes. Francesca and Massimo are among the promotors of the cultural association Capalbio è vino, started for the purpose of highlighting the wine produced in this area, but also of the Arte e vino project, which includes a temporary art installation housed, every year, at the wineries that have joined the project. The passion for art is immediately clear to those who have the privilege of visiting La Vigna sul Mare, which houses a permanent art exhibition by Gerardo Masini, known as Gimas, Massimo’s much-mourned father. Since 2018, all the wines are made on the estate. The main vineyard is located at 180 meters above sea level by the Capita wood, with a lovely view of the sea - from which its name derives- and, on the clearest days, also of the island of Giannutri. All the wines are fully representative of the land, with fresh-savory notes that leave you wanting for more.

MAREMMA TOSCANA VERMENTINO COR D’OR DOC 2021

Vermentino 100% Paglierino vivace con sprazzi verdolino, l’incipit è fruttato, pera, maracuja e cedro, a questi si uniscono richiami di mimosa, mandorla, timo e gesso. Il sorso è energico, dotato di freschezza e di un buon tenore alcolico, a centro bocca ritornano note di mango maturo, frutta secca Lively straw yellow-colored with light green tints. ROSÉ DELLA CÀPITA BRUT ROSATO METODO CLASSICO

Syrah 80%, Sangiovese 12%, Cabernet Sauvignon Brillante livrea buccia di cipolla di media intensità, petali di violetta, salvia e accenni di cipria e pietra focaia. All’assaggio è fresco, sapido con una cremosità avvolgente data dall’anidride carbonica, persistente con ricordi di scorza di arancia. Bright onionskin appearance of medium inten currant, violet petals, sage and hints of powder dioxide, lingering with hints of orange peel.

SYRAH TOSCANA IGT 2019

Syrah 100% Vivido manto rubino che vira al porpora. L’impatto iniziale è di lampone e glicine. Seguono aromatiche, liquirizia, china, tabacco, caffè e legno di sandalo. L’ingresso è caldo, domato da acidità e tannini integrati. Lungo al gusto con piacevole ritorno di frutti rossi e sapidità. A ruby-red appearance verging on crimson. The initial impact on the nose is of raspberry and wisteria, followed by notes of black pepper, pencil lead, rhubarb, aromatic herbs, licorice, cinchona, tobacco, coffee and sandalwood. MAREMMA TOSCANA CABERNET SAUVIGNON PIETRO NERO DOC 2020

Cabernet Sauvignon 100% Limpido rubino abbastanza compatto. Apre su note di felce e peperone verde, poi arrivano mirtillo, mora di gelso, cioccolato, chiodi di garofano, mirto e curcuma. In bocca prevale la freschezza, con tannino scalpitante e una buona sensazione alcolica. Persistente con sapore di frutti scuri che esalta la piacevolezza di beva. Limpid and quite thick ruby-red colored. It opens on the nose with notes of ferns and green pepper, followed by blueberry, mulberry, chocolate, cloves, myrtle and turmeric. GIMAS TOSCANA ROSSO IGT 2019

Veste rubino intenso, i profumi sono eleganti con riconoscimenti di viola mammola, iris, cassis, marasca, noce moscata, bacche di ginepro, alloro, elicriso, tamarindo e scia ferrosa. È succoso, dinamico, con una vibrante spalla acida, tannini vellutati e discreta sapidità, persistente Intense ruby-red colored.
