Alessandro Piva

Alessandr o Piva graduated with honors from the Università Iuav di Venezia (Institute of Architecture and Design). Afterward, he moved to Milan, where he worked with Umberto Riva and other leading studios until 1999, when he opened his own firm. With a wide-ranging field of expertise that encompasses architecture and interior, industrial, and furniture design, Piva has successfully collaborated with several prestigious Italian and international companies. As a designer, he has earned great renown for designing exceptional pulls and knobs, lighting fixtures, and crystal chandeliers. His work unequivocally demonstrates his mastery of using new materials and technologies to create unique furniture and lighting design pieces.

Björn Dahlström

Björn Dahlström is a leading Swedish contemporary designer known internationally for his contributions to the design world. He has received more than 20 national and international design awards, including the first Torsten and Wanja Söderberg Prize for design and several Swedish Utmärkt Svensk Form awards. His works can be seen in various museums around the world, including the Röhsska museum in Gothenburg, Sweden, the National Museum in Stockholm, Sweden, and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London, England. Dahlström’s design style creatively marries aesthetic appeal and functionality, distinguished by his use of contrasting colors, curved forms, and unusual scales and materials.

Fabio Redaelli

Fabio Redaelli, brother of Marco Redaelli, cultivated his passion for design and painting from an early age. His creative flair is invariably present in his paintings. His art features abstract and colorful compositions mixed with unexpected chromatic combinations that create a myriad of forms and moods. His architectural studies also contributed to his training and learning techniques. Redaelli has successfully transferred his multifaceted talent into handle and knob design for the furniture sector, creating a series of highly sought-after products.

Giorgio Vigna

Giorgio Vigna received his artistic training in his city of birth, Verona, and also in Venice, Rome and Milan. His art constantly unfolds along an imaginary border of diverse fields of art and design. He expresses himself through various creative outlets, from jewelry and sculpture to handle and knob designs. For Vigna, matter and form are always in close relationship with the body and its gestures, imprinted with tribal evocations and ethnic memories of which he is a passionate connoisseur and collector. His works are part of national and international public and private collections, including the Museum of Arts & Design in New York, United States, the International Museum of Applied Arts Today in Torino, Italy, and the Designmuseo in Helsinki, Finland.

Giulio Gianturco

Giulio Gianturco’s passion for design prompted him to investigate and appreciate various technical materials, such as stainless steel, titanium, and aramid fibers. This was the starting point for designing objects that were initially only for himself, that later became short production runs. In 2008, Gianturco began devoting himself exclusively to the creation of design products. His kitchen and bathroom accessories, lighting fixtures, and furniture pieces for Italian iconic brands, including Pamar, have won numerous design awards.

Giuseppe Bavuso

Giuseppe Bavuso is an architect and designer who lives and works in Seregno, north of Milan. His projects combine the rigor of an almost minimalist design with great technical research and a wise use of technological and innovative materials. Through his own product design firm, established in 1986, he works as a designer and consultant for leading companies in the furniture industry. Bavuso has received several Italian and international awards, including the Red Dot Award. Several of his works have also been selected by the Design Index.

Gordon Guillaumier Jo Coenen

Gordon Guillaumier draws inspiration from a rich background spanning many European countries and extensive studies in industrial design. He began designing pieces for Foscarini and Mito (1994) and established his own design studio and consultancy in Milan in 2002. Elegant and often minimalist, his work is characterized by a certain basic sobriety and close attention to detail. Guillaumier has collaborated with and designed products for numerous internationally renowned firms. He has also lectured at famous schools of design, such as Politecnico di Milano, and his works have been published in design magazines Domus, Abitare, Interni, AD, Modo, and Wallpaper , to name a few.

Jo Coenen is a Dutch architect and urban planner. He studied architecture at the Eindhoven University of Technology. In addition to his academic career throughout Europe, he opened his own studio in Eindhoven in 1980 and acted as Chief Architect on behalf of the Dutch government. His works have been exhibited in various biennials and triennials and have won several prestigious international awards. In 2014, he received the Royal Honor of Knight of the Order of the Netherlands Lion for his notable contributions to the field of architecture and urban design. Coenen gives utmost importance to the artistic relations between the past and the present, in particular on the issue of design.

Lino Codato

Internationally renowned Lino Codato graduated from the School of Art, specializing in scenography, at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice and started working as an interior designer. He opened his own studio in Verona in 1982 and then moved to Castelfranco Veneto to expand the scope of his work to include product, graphic, and retail design. For Codato, design is a means to express and actualize one’s own experiences. He expresses his love and dedication to his art through a unique lens, producing designs with a versatility that moves seamlessly from conception to creation. In his studio, experts work in synergy on various projects. Expertise, skill, and talent continuously intertwine, merged by the enthusiasm to always deliver inimitable results.

Marco Redaelli

Hailing from a family steeped in a tradition that began with his father, Angelo Redaelli, founder of Pamar, a hardware and furniture accessories business, Marco Redaelli has cultivated a strong passion for design and innovation since adolescence. Working alongside his brother Fabio and sister Silvia, and inspired by his family’s dedication to craftsmanship, he has created design products of timeless beauty. Now, at the helm of Pamar, the family legacy lives on, as he steers the firm toward new horizons. Combining design and industrialization, Redaelli has succeeded in establishing the company’s leading role in the decorative hardware sector.

Marelli e Molteni

Carlo Marelli and Massimo Molteni opened their multidisciplinary studio in 1977, after graduating from the University of Milan with degrees in architecture. Working together with some of the most prestigious companies in the sector in both Italy and abroad, such as Aran Word, Calligaris, Feg Group, Roche Bobois, and Pamar, they carry out architecture and graphic, industrial, and interior design projects. The firm has designed a wide range of furniture, kitchen and bathroom accessories, and lighting fixtures. Their combined creativity and artistic direction produce contemporary and minimalist designs.

Mario Mazzer

Mario Mazzer graduated from the University of Milan with a degree in architecture and from the Scuola Politecnica with a degree in industrial design. He gained his experience working with masters of the Italian design, such as Achille Castiglioni and Marco Zanuso. In 1980, he opened his studio at Conegliano Veneto, Italy, where he started developing his personal design language. In 2001, he released his book Thinking About Things: Mario Mazzer Designer He carries out activities in diverse sectors, from architecture to industrial design. Many of his projects have been published in Italian and international magazines. Mazzer’s works have also been showcased in numerous museums and design exhibitions. He has received several Good Design Awards, Red Dot Awards, and IF Product Design Awards.

Michele Marcon

Michele Marcon first studied graphic arts, graduating as Maestro d’Arte, and then advertising design at the M. Fanoli School of Art in Cittadella. Subsequently, he studied industrial and interior design while working with showrooms in the sector. He then joined the Lino Codato designer studio, a collaboration that has lasted twenty years, which enabled him to perfect his craft and provided him with a 360° knowledge in industrial, furniture, and interior design. In 2008, Marcon launched his own firm and continued proposing innovative and harmonious design ideas. In collaboration with Snaidero, he has also created several trendsetting, luxury kitchen designs featuring a wide range of styles with timeless appeal.

Pinuccio Borgonovo

Pinuccio Borgonovo studied at the State Art Institute in Cantù and then joined the design center of a major furniture company, where he acquired experience in industrial product design. In 1987, he decided to freelance and became a consultant for some leading furniture firms, creating internationally successful products. In 1992, he started collaborating with Former, designing a full collection based on innovative concepts that, among other things, led to the development of the first modular system to appear on the market with finished, multipurpose elements. Borgonovo has created designs for beds, furniture, and lighting for high-profile companies such as Citterio, Flou, Former, Gallotti e Radice, and Pamar.

Rodolfo Dordoni

Architect and designer Rodolfo Dordoni graduated in architecture and became a formidable figure in the international design industry. He was responsible for the art direction of several well-known companies until 2005, when he set up Studio Dordoni Architetti, specializing in architecture and interior design. In addition to being an accomplished and versatile master of interior design, Dordoni also collaborates with some of the biggest brands in furniture and lighting. With a gift for expressing beauty and proportion, he uses noble materials, such as metal and porcelain, to create some of the most acclaimed collections of Italian design.

Simone Micheli

Simone Micheli graduated from the Faculty of Architecture of Florence University, where he learned from and was inspired by prominent mentors such as Giovanni Klaus Koenig, Giovanni Michelucci, and Bruno Zevi. In 1990, he founded his own studio and, in 2003, the Simone Micheli Architectural Hero Company with offices in Florence, Milan, Dubai, Rabat, and Busan. Numerous monographs and articles in Italian and international magazines, as well as television interviews, have been dedicated to his work. Winning international recognition, his sustainable and eco-friendly creations are characterized by a strong identity and a uniqueness that reflect his passion for design.
